Don't just take our word for it - hear from our students themselves! One student shares, "At SCEI, I have learned skills to become a nurse and developed a lot of self-confidence." Another student chose SCEI for its close proximity to their house and smaller class sizes, which allowed for more personalized attention from teachers. They add, "What I like best about the course is that it is only two days a week. This way, I can study for two days and work the rest of the week."
Nursing is a popular choice among our students, as it provides numerous options and pathways. One student shares, "Nursing was always something I wanted to pursue as I always wanted a career where I could help people." They highlight the importance of holistic care and the wide range of nursing skills and theory they learned during their time at SCEI.

"I would NOT recommend you to study @ SCEI . Why? 1 ) I studied Pathology collection certificate 3 at Southern Cross in Adelaide, their I.T department always ignored emails, if you have I.T problem then you email I.T department, you never get a reply unless you keep chasing them again and again. 2) me & many classmates in my class had student cards that ran out of date before the course was due to finish. 3) The system SCEI used is called Moodle, but this platform was painfully poorly designed, every time you use it is a pain. Because even you follow the steps they told you, you still cannot upload your homework properly, our teacher always said your homework is blank, blank and blank, and you have to spend thousand years to upload it again and again and again. 4) The worst thing was they take so long to give us our certificates. 5) I don’t know why the receptionist always look displease, no matter what you ask her, such as making photo copy, or asking her about student card or other issues. Every time I go to the reception I feel unwelcome. So, please think twice before you enroll this school."
"My experience at SCEI Adelaide Campus was truly outstanding. The modern facilities, knowledgeable instructors, and personalized approach to education created an ideal learning environment. Practical activities and supportive staff enhanced the experience further. Highly recommended for those seeking quality education and a supportive atmosphere."
"I studied Pathology collection certificate 3 at Southern Cross in Adelaide and while the enrolment officer and my trainer where very kind and helpful I cannot say the same for the rest of my interactions with other people at the school. My trainer and the enrolment officer went above and beyond to help me and the rest of my class but the reception desk, student welfare and placement officer were either unhelpful, ignored emails/phone calls or just blatantly said they won’t help you. Pretty much everyone in my class had student cards that ran out of date before the course was due to finish and then expected us to pay for a new card. The Moodle platform was extremely poorly designed and they then changed it part way through our course causing a lot of problems in accessing previous assignments The placement officer told us to let him know of geographical requests before placement was organised and although I emailed him twice requesting something either in the city or southern (as I live at Aldinga Beach) he gave me Magill that (even though he said he lives in Melbourne and doesn’t know the city, then why ask us where we prefer) is in the northern branch of SA pathology, while a classmate who lived north got Burnside which is in the southern branch They also did not supply First Aid training even though it was in our curriculum so we all had to out source it ourselves and then they made us jump through hoops to get refunded for the cost. Many of the international students had a lot of grief with the finance department for many reasons The worst thing the school did was take soooo long to give us our certificates I nearly lost my job at SA pathology because I didn’t have it. I enjoyed the studying and my Trainer was lovely and helpful (thanks Karina) and Jaimie (recruitment officer) was also fantastic, unfortunately I cannot say the same for the rest of the people I encountered at SCEI I would never study with this organisation again, I highly discourage anyone international or domestic student from studying here"
"DON'T ENROLL!!! I did my Certificate III in ECEC at this school, and I really don't recommend you this school at all! I hope my review helps you not to go through hell like my classmates and other students, and I hope that you find a good school that you deserve as an international student! I've been a very good student, but I had a lot of stress, headache and emotional breakdowns because of the unprofessionally of the whole school. They just contact you to receive their money, but there is never a response from welfare or other staff if you have questions or you need some help. You never reach a worker by phone, as they never pick up the phone. The welfare worker has no knowledge about CoE cancellation or withdrawing. She wanted me to cancel my student visa in Australia, which would mean I would remain unlawfully in Australia and get banned for 3 years! I really recommend you do your own research regarding to student visa matters. Ask your student agent or call the immigration. My course took 1 year, but the school couldn't follow up with correcting student assessments. They didn't follow up to organise our work placements in time. I'm still waiting for my Certificate III (it should be issued already in March). By the way: I think the good reviews on this website were written by people who didn't study at SCEI. Do your research and find a good school!"
"DO NOT ENROLL IN THIS SCHOOL ! ! ! I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the quality of education and support I have received at SCEI. To be honest, this institution is not even deserving of a single star. The staff members have consistently demonstrated a lack of willingness to assist students in any meaningful way. On my first day of the Cert III course, I was not informed about what I needed to bring to class until my trainer mentioned that I should bring a laptop and textbook. Throughout the course, I encountered issues with student learning access and downloading assessments. Despite contacting the IT department via email, I often did not receive a reply. I was left to resolve these problems on my own. Now that I have completed all the theory courses, I am facing another challenge. Nobody seems willing to provide me with assistance in marking my assignments. I have sent several emails to both my trainer and the welfare department, inquiring about my placement, but I have not received a single response in the past three weeks. The staff members at SCEI have displayed inefficiency and a lack of professionalism. Their unresponsiveness has only added to my frustration. Please be aware that this school does not provide adequate support to its students. I urge you to consider alternative educational institutions."
