Bill Kirby, our founder, has an impressive swimming career that spanned 10 years on the Australian Swim Team. He competed at the highest levels of international competition, winning medals at Commonwealth Games, Pan Pacific Games, World Championships, and Olympic Games. As a qualified swimming teacher and ASCTA Coach for over 20 years, Bill's approach to swimming focuses on fun, technique-based games and activities that build strength and confidence in the pool.

Together with his wife Saskia, a physiotherapist and disability-focused swimming teacher, Bill has successfully grown Kirby Swim into the premier swim school for swimming lessons in Perth and Mandurah. Their passion for swimming and commitment to excellence shines through in every aspect of our institution.
