Welcome to Hinterland Dance Academy, a premier establishment and point of interest located at Carrara, The Boulevard, 3029. Our academy offers a wide range of dance classes for all ages, from 3 to 18 years old. We invite you to come and view our gorgeous studios, meet our friendly team, and even attend a free class to see why you and your child will love HDA!

For adults looking to explore the art of ballet, we offer two options. Our Basic Adult Ballet Class is perfect for beginners and takes place on Fridays from 12:30 to 1:30. If you're looking for more of a challenge, our RAD Grade 8 Syllabus Adult Ballet class is held on Fridays from 1:30 to 2:30. Both classes provide a nurturing and supportive environment for adults to learn and grow in their ballet skills.

In addition to our regular classes, we also offer a Silver Swans Ballet Class on Mondays from 1:00 to 2:00. This class is specifically designed for mature dancers who want to stay active and continue their love for ballet.

You can find us at Suite 16/3029 The Boulevard, in the French Quarter of Emerald Lakes, Carrara. Our academy is located on Level 1 of the Maison building, right on the corner of The Boulevard and Panorama Dr. Access to our studios is through glass doors and stairs, conveniently located just to the right of the fountain near all the cafes.

Our mission at Hinterland Dance Academy is to create great dancers with a passion for their art, while also teaching values and skills that develop well-balanced young individuals. Through our classes, students not only learn dance techniques but also gain confidence, discipline, balance, grace, and respect for themselves, their teachers, peers, and their art. We also instill traditions and etiquette that have been passed down for hundreds of years, teaching students how to become engaged within the arts community. Additionally, our students learn the value of hard work, time management, self-motivation, teamwork, and living healthily. We prioritize professionalism in all aspects of our academy.

We are proud to announce that 2017 marks our 40th Anniversary since our establishment in 1978. Throughout the years, we have continued to provide exceptional dance education and foster a love for the art form.
