Reviews of Assisi Catholic College
"This school is horrible. It cares more about its "precious" reputation than the actual students. The food is over priced and trash. It has denied many applications for the student being a person of colour. The bullying gets so bad the people have left the school because NO TEACHER does ANYTHING to help the poor students who get bullied until the parents get involved. the bullying should be done before the parents even hear about it. I am in year 7 and have to fight for my rights to even speak in classrooms. I cant share my opinion, if i do i get sent out for being "disrespectful" but the teachers cant even give me an INCH of respect. Every teacher likes do things by gender its always "boys come help with this, no no girls aren't STRONG enough" which isn't that bad, but if you ask and your a girl be prepared to be lectured about how your a girl and your just meant to sit quit and do your work! The teachers are unqualified and rude. The school doesn't do proper background checks on their staff and let disgusting people in TEACH CHILDREN. The amount of homework is horrible. I get that students need to do work outside of school, but since when did that mean you get assign me 2 hours worth of homework for 1 class, and if you say anything about it they yell and scream at you as if you already didn't know your struggling with the class. We have lives outside school. This school blamed my PHONE on my MENTAL HEALTH. Their "Guidance Counsellors" are trash. For a private school they could DEFINITELY afford better Counsellors. I know many people who have had to leave because of the insignificance of staff. I feel bad for the principle because none of this is his fault and he is a great guy with a good heart but is unfortunately leaving us we will miss him. Back to the point. This school is trash i wish i could give it a 0 star review but 1 will have to do i guess."
"Great school with strong values. Kids are respectful and well behaved. Teaching staff are excellent."
"I was invited to the Mother's Day breakfast yesterday and it was the most beautiful experience. It was organised to perfection. The students can certainly hold their heads high and be ever so proud. The food and drinks were perfect. Well done. I hope I get invited next year. Pam x"
"This school has been exceptional. Cannot fault. It has OSH care that is very flexible also. I just noticed all the whinging negative reviews of what look to be students or ex students. Harden up kids, your parents could have sent you to the local state school. And we both know you precious types wouldn’t survive there."
"Three daughters go here, and I cannot say how much this school goes above and beyond. They have thrived here, the amazing staff who are exceptional educators, the principal and deputies all make this an amazing place. I couldn’t have chosen a better place for my daughters."
