"Great venue with lots of culture and character. Reasonably priced, and a perfect place to see a local band. A true independent run by passion and camaraderie, check it out."
"I use a wheelchair for mobility and attended Lazy Eye on 11th August. The club is old but there is a ramp at the front door. A staff member opened the door and I was placed in a great position to enjoy the music with friends. I was offered a coffee by the manager and he asked a few questions to ensure my visit was great. Well done to the staff at the club."
"Such a good night..relaxed atmosphere ...great musos.. nice cheap snacks and drinks..full house..get there early for shows."
"We went there for a mate's memorial gathering, amongst other's who know. For us we got to catch up with people we hadn't seen in a while, from the music industry, as our mate was part of. The staff were polite & respectful when serving us. They had live bands playing, which spoilt it for me personally, as we were there to remember this muso, & talk with people, but with the band's playing, we couldn't share a conversation properly, so we spent a lot of time outside, at the front, so we could talk with each other. These type of occasion's are to reminess about times gone by, & catch up with people from those times, as we all grow older, our appearances change, so we don't always resemble how we once looked, or how we may be fairing as time marches on. Some of us don't see too well, or hear so good, so shouting becomes part of talking with each other, a live band spoils that ability. We don't go to this club, this is the 3rd time in 50 or more years, since being there. It was a blues oriented club back then, & isn't any different today. They do need to present more variety of music at this venue, so more people can attend, but having all their eggs in one basket, segregates people into smaller groups. For me personally, I prefer a variety of music, this is perhaps the main reason for us not to go there. As it was a special event for a very special person, it was great catching up with a lot of people we haven't seen in a long while."
"Great place, good vibes interesting artwork on walls some may even say quirky, This old property has some amazing woodwork. Drink prices were great, staff quick and friendly and the crowd friendly. Huge pool tables a good set up and venue would be great to hold functions in. Went to catch up with family have a bite to eat and watch a local band. It was wonderful to see community support local Adelaide artists, Tin Can Alley and Holler & The Bones band who are representing South Australia in Memphis for the International Blues competition."
