"I typically do not write negative reviews as I feel that it is unfair to businesses which are trying hard to resolve a plethora of complex issues. However, my experience with the Adelaide Royal Coach was completely unsatisfactory, which I think potential guests should be made aware of before booking. The staff at the Adelaide Royal Coach are disturbingly lacking in empathy, unwilling to problem solve, and improperly trained. When a simple eftpos issue arose with my card (that was the fault of their eftpos system), the staff were apparently unable to offer any solutions to resolve the situation. I repeatedly asked to speak with a manager and was told to come back hours later, leaving my personal belongings in my room, which I no longer had access to. The general manager also yelled at me over the phone, saying that I shouldn't have booked through a third party, and hung up on me after I was put on hold for 8 minutes. I booked through the partner company of the Adelaide Royal Coach, and I am unable to fathom why this was an issue. The room itself was basic, however, there was a noticeable layer grime in the bathroom which other reviews on this page has already brought attention to. I feel that I was reasonable to staff in every interaction with them, and was undeserving of the total lack of empathy I received in return. I would advise anyone reading this review to stay in more reliable, clean and serviceable accommodation when travelling to Adelaide."

"Best staff, Matt made a cocktail for me from my own recipe! Best I’ve ever had in adelaided.. Plus Adelaide people are rude except Sarah she brings all the customers in with her warm and friendly service. They don’t even do cocktails unless premixed but they will adjust to your needs. I feel right at home here and have never had such great customer service. Felt lonely while waiting for a work friend who was late but Matt and Sarah cheered me up! Will be coming again to the bar and great food 10/10 thanks cheff he came out and gave a chefs kiss"

"Absolutely superb service, if I could give more than 5 I would. I visited tonight with my family so we could catch up with our parents from interstate. My family were part of a large group with meals pre arranged. When we asked the bar staff if we could sit together and order meals nothing was difficult, without fuss they organised a large table and went above and beyond to accommodate. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff working here, the meals were lovely too. It can difficult to find good, genuine service these days but this place ticks all the boxes. Thanks so much, and to Matthew, you turned a pleasant night into a memorable one for all."
