Crema Helensvale

"Got our breakky here during the long weekend holiday. This is the only restaurant opened near Pac Pines. My partner loves his breakky wrap. Their coffee is good however I did not like the corn fritters. The fritters are very doughy and it doesn't taste nice at all. I would still come back for the coffee but will avoid ordering the corn fritters."

"We had brunch here a week ago and overall the feel of the cafe is nice. Staff are friendly enough, they offer colouring in pencils and papers but you have to get them yourself from the shelves. Otherwise they don’t offer them. The three stars is due to inconsistency. There’s times I’ve come (3 times now) and the first time was sub par. The second time was so delicious ordering a vegetarian breakfast which was massive. Great serving size. The last time the size was complete different. Differ ratios of hash browns and toast and the eggs were very bland and pale. We got cakes and coffee following and I had to send the cake back as it was so stale and inedible. They were happy to swap it for another which I did and that was delicious and fresh. However what I chose was cheaper than what I had paid for the stale cake and no difference was offered with change. Our guests who we brought here stated they wouldn’t return based on their experience this time around. It truly is dependant on the day I would say."

"It’s a nice location. Good service. Nice too see the owners have a homeless street outreach called the Edge. Good to support businesses reaching out beyond. I wish they made the hollandaise from scratch but I won’t mark them down as I asked before hand and it’s a Crema Espresso franchise so what more can I expect. Good coffee. Relaxed atmosphere."

"I ordered the big breakfast with hard fried eggs no mushrooms and no butter. There brought it out perfectly done and with plenty of beautiful bacon. I loved that the bread was sliced super thin- it was so nice and crisply toasts to just the right colour. The self serve water was lightly flavoured with cucumber and so delicate and refreshing. I sat outside on the quiet street in a lovely breeze in a Sunday. Love it. Will definitely return with friends!"

"Second weekly visit by our small group and we are discovering what a nice place is Crema at Helensvale Westfield. Their location is great with an open air section and on a winter day the sunshine was nice. Their selection of cakes and pastries is delectable and the hard part is selection. Service is exceptional;the staff could not be more helpful. It might be a secret, but a Seniors discount is available, which is appreciated."
