Bunnings Kent Town

"I hope a National manager can read this to retain the staff members here This Bunnings store seems to have the worst customer service team in the state. 1. I approached the counter because there were two staff members having a chat. There was no "register closed" sign. I didn't want to interrupt the guy who was hitting on his female co-worker. Eventually, he addressed me by saying, "the other counter is open." Okay, mate, sorry for interrupting your conversation. 2. I rented a carpet cleaner and received it in an absolutely filthy condition. When I returned it, I informed the staff member about its condition. He proceeded to tell me that Britex needs to clean it. According to him, it's not their problem. I explained that when I returned it to another store previously, they checked if I had rinsed it and even made me use their tap. I understand it was my mistake, but it's frustrating to be told to my face that they don't check the machine due to laziness and that it's not their responsibility. 3. None of the staff at this store greets customers. Simply asking them a question makes you feel guilty for bothering them. Even when you address them, they just stare at you. This is not what I am accustomed to at Bunnings."

"We were at Bunnings on Sunday and found a staff member Aneena very helpful and friendly, she's very good at her work, always like comming too this store easy access always find what we need, and Aneena was very helpful when a friend off mine recently returned a item, she went out off her way too find the right product, great service."

"Great attentive and helpful advice from Blake today in the paint section. He ensured he mixed the correct colour from a sample of fencing I brought in to get the best possible match. Very impressed and happy with his attention to detail and customer service."

"Staff are always lovely and personable. I usually find what I need here though it's not my local Bunnings, I do shop here for work when I'm down that way. The small, tight carpark is a real down point. It's always hard to find a park and fit into the ones that are there when in the work truck. There is always some impatient person getting road rage in the carpark which is annoying."

"Same as any other bunnings although parking and access here is difficult and other times a bit dangerous. The store is smaller than others but has a good range of DIY essentials for an inner city location and enough to get by. The garden area is fairly small but still has some basic vegies and flowering annuals. Staff are friendly and helpful though"
