"I am a long term customer to this service centre and their front desk staffs were usually very customer orientated, but my recent experience on the phone with a newly hired Boss lady was very disappointing. She was not interested to listen to the customer question instead insisting on feeding the customer the wrong information, telling me she only can book me in If I gave her the VIN,I told her I cannot give her the VIN now as I was working, can I gave her my car rego number instead, without a blink she said no. I asked her whether I can book online instead, she said no again as she said booking online was also need VIN which was false. Later that day I booked online without needing to fill up the VIN, the online booking only need rego number."

"Jane answered my call from service department and was not informative nor helpful. I bought my Subaru Forester from Gosnell Subaru 2021. When I called Gosnell Subaru for the same information that is, to update the maps, I got given a step by step instruction and an email that followed to reiterate the instructions and if I was still unable to do it, Gosnell Subaru invited me to bring the car in for FREE to have the map updated. Jane told me that I could update the maps myself and if not, she had checked with her manager and there was a $165 charge to do so. Just flippantly mentioned I could do it on wifi. She was not interested in helping whatsoever. Subaru Australia should provide good service for such small things without having to charge for it. "Went back to the dealer for the first time since I got my car since it was having some electrical issues. Never again! So expensive and service was so unfriendly the only bright spark here was the receptionist, she was absolutely lovely. They also tried to ask my boyfriend questions about my car instead of calling me as was requested? I guess they assumed the man would know better than the actual driver and owner of the car? Gross."
"Extremely poor customer service and no respect for the vehicles they have been trusted to look after! My Outback went in for a service to replace the recalled Takata airbags and electronic parking brake. When I picked my car up from the Service Centre I noticed paint had been taken off my rear bumper and there were stress fractures consistent with damage cause by a tow ball. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt as the damage could have occurred in a car park any time during the preceding week. However, a few days later I noticed that my passenger side mirror had been badly damaged AND a poor attempt was made to repair it with glue. The glue is a dead give away that this damage was not the result of a car park prang. I approach the Service Centre the following day, and they refused to acknowledge that the damage occurred while the car was in their care. The response I received was that their policy is to notify the owner if any damages occur to the car, which I don't doubt, however in this case this damage wasn't reported or they felt like this damage was 'insignificant' enough to get away with. I have tried contacting the Melville Subaru through their website and customer service chat to no avail."
