About Spectrum Space
Welcome to Spectrum Space, formerly known as Autism West, located at 2 Alma Street in Fremantle, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to creating a community that embraces and understands autism.
At Spectrum Space, we believe in the power of connection and the strength that comes from working together. We dream of a community where people with a range of abilities, personalities, and capacities can engage, interact, and contribute at work, at home, and socially. Our goal is to make this dream a reality by promoting autism awareness and fostering collaboration.
We acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the lands on which we live and work. We understand the importance of honoring Elders past and present.
Through our social groups, services, research partnerships, and community events, Spectrum Space aims to break down social barriers and create a world where autism is seamlessly integrated into our community's rich fabric. Our annual Spectrum Space Symposium, the only event of its kind in Australia, brings together individuals on the autism spectrum, their families, health professionals, educators, service providers, employers, researchers, and anyone interested in autism. This symposium combines lived experiences with insights from business leaders, healthcare professionals, and service providers to explore the challenges and opportunities for our community.
In addition to our symposium, we also offer the Telethon Holiday Makers Program, providing a range of activities during school holidays for individuals to enjoy. We understand the importance of providing opportunities for neurodiverse individuals to engage and participate in meaningful experiences.
Spectrum Space is dedicated to providing services for neurodiverse individuals. We are committed to creating an autism-aware community that embraces diversity and the potential that comes from living, playing, and working with people on the spectrum. Join us on this journey as we explore the possibilities of collaboration and create a world where autism is just a part of our community's vibrant tapestry.

Reviews of Spectrum Space
"Just great for getting to know others."
"Good services"
"Better than my group now."
"As an autistic person, i am disappointed that i have to make this review. A few months ago, i attended one of these social groups. However, the person whom was running this group seemed to have little respect and/or experience for working with autistic youth. I was repeatedly mocked by this person and they behaved in an unprofessional manner, and yet, this organization asks for a fee of well over $300 a month, of which NDIS can only pay little of. I understand that this organization is not funded by the government and relies on these fees. However, this is no excuse. I have attended similar social groups for minorities, such as LGBT+, which rely solely on volunteer work and community donations. Stats show that autistic people are more likely to be unemployed, therefore this ridiculous amount might as well be discrimination. Another factor that was very disappointing to me, is that no one on their board of directors appears to be on the autism spectrum, which furthermore, only suggests no autistic people are involved in making these decisions. And no, i will not be attending the "other" groups as the person on the phone line suggested, nor will i be recommending this organization to anyone, autistic or not, until you check your staff's qualifications. And perhaps, changing the language you use on your website. I am autistic, not a person "with" autism!"
"Beautiful centre. Very helpful!"
