"This park.... Ya can't beat it. These trees are insane with the changes of the day even the cliffs. I love it here"
"Jenkins Reserve is the beginning (or middle) of adventure. Choose your own way! Head east towards the hills via the paved track or along a variety of packed dirt options to Carisbrook and beyond. Continue under Main North Road and past the Old Spot Hotel along the newly renovated path that takes you up into the foothills in the gully along the Little Para River (there is a limit to how far you can go). Head West and curve along beautiful parklands along the back side of the Parabanks Shopping Centre, with a variety of paths that will bring you all the way to Port Wakefield road (if you really feel adventurous)."
"Lovely area, easy to park and get to."
"Big oval, dog parks, tables, benches. Lots of parrots squawking and nibbling at pinecones. Can start walk from here and extend all the way down to Carisbrooke or further up the upper little para trail."
"This reserve is great to visit, with beautiful old gum trees especially around the creek..and lots of water plants & nasturtiums growing under the cover of the trees inviting lots of butterflies. Big tree trunks laying down for children to play on, a covered play area plus a covered adult exercise area with gym equipment. There is a fitness track, Tennis Courts, a dog park over a small bridge with a playground. There were toilets at the courts/oval. All suitable for wheelchair access."
