"You can enjoy several dishes such as fish and chips and oysters. The seafood is fresh and tastes good but fish and chips and burgers are not the best one in this area. The location is good. You can enjoy a nice view of Fremantle’s wharf."
"I’m with mixed feelings about Kailis’. I want to like it. I’m trying to like it. I’m not sure if I do like it. So, first things first — there are two parts to the Menu — BBQ and FRY. So, you either choose BBQ’d seafood, or fried/deep fried seafood. Now, the interesting part — you have to line up on one queue to order from the BBQ side of the menu. You then line up on a second queue to order from the reverse side FRY menu. You then (yes, you guessed it), like up at a THIRD queue to order alcohol. Each queue was a 5-6-min wait, so this easily becomes a lengthy exercise. You’re then given a buzzer, so you have to walk back and get your food once it’s ready. Overall, a glorified Fish & Chips shop with a bizarre ordering system. Inside was rather cold — most patrons were eating with their jackets on, which is quite unpleasant. The Mixed Grill was nice, but overpriced. Identical dish in Melbourne’s Hunky Dory franchise is $16 less. Overall, the food was good and the beer was cold. I’d definitely check out the surrounding places, before I may consider coming back here."
"I had an amazing time at this restaurant! The fish and chips were a delight - the fish was fresh, and the portion of chips was generous. The picturesque view of the harbor added a perfect touch to the dining experience. I couldn't have asked for more - great food, fresh seafood, and a stunning view! A must-visit place for a memorable meal by the water."
"The fish n' chips were delicious, although the chips could be better. The sea view adds to the experience, but beware of seagulls if dining outdoors. I can't wait to come back for their seafood chowder."
"The famous fish and chip in Fremantle, old school feel setup. Find your seat and proceed to order your food at the counter. Simple customer service. Fish n chip is good, however i feel seafood chowder is better elsewhere. Portion is decent, price is slightly higher for the name and scenery. Worth the try!"
