"I returned to this establishment a year after writing a one star review. This time I am delighted to give all five stars! Why the huge accolade? From the moment we stepped in we were warmly welcomed by Tony. He took care of us the whole night and the service was par excellence. (I did note that he was amiable with all the other patrons in the restaurant too.) Laughter could be heard at all the tables he visited. Amazing service. Food was delectable. The garlic bread was delicious and the calamari was divine. I had the sword fish recommended by Tony and my son and partner had the steak. The fish was cooked to perfection and the rocket complimented it well. All in all we were highly satisfied and satiated. I must hasten to add the venue manager Christian Templeton was easily accessible and empathetic hence the return visit. Thank you sincerely, it was a delightful dining experience from start to finish. Well done Raffles! A noteworthy establishment."
"Easy to get to and find parking nearby or just take the train. We went on a Wednesday night and they had a half price pizza deal which was very good and they even gave takeaway boxes of you couldn't finish it. Service was super fast with qr code option. Drinks were pretty pricey though, around 15 for a regular wine and $8 for a pint of soda and lime. It's such a lovely location though and the atmosphere was great. Couldn't believe how busy it was on a school night."
"OUTRAGEOUS PRICES FOR NOTHING.... EXCEPT FILTH I've been to Paris, Monaco, London....all over the world. Even in Sydney i would not expect to pay the amount I did for a drink unless it was an exquisite venue with people to watch. No style, no substance. We felt overdressed and this is supposed to be in one of the more affluent suburbs in Perth. Just came back to the Raffles Hotel....hadn't been here in 30+ years. Ordered two glasses of wine. $47.52 spent before we looked around. Two tables of patrons, a lackluster DJ and no dance floor, Went to the toilet and both of us came back disgusted. They were dilthy.let alone ambiance....never coming back again. No wonder the Rowing Pavilion is pumping....no reason to come here at all, even on a Saturday night....STAY HOME WITH GOOD FRIENDS We should have known better when we stepped over what can only be described as sewage on our way to the front door...."
"Came here for lunch on a Monday afternoon. Not very busy when we arrived but picked up over the next hour or so. Tried to find menus when we walked into the bar area but were unsuccessful and had to wait for a few minutes while the bar tender finished serving his customers to receive the menus. Found a spot outside under the shade of an umbrella. Super nice vibe with music playing in the background. I ordered the 250g Sirloin Steak and a side garden salad. My partner ordered the beef burger and we shared a serving of the stone baked bread. The stone baked bread was delicious however it is unfortunate that it came out with our mains instead of entre. The steak was average, nothing special. Salad was a generous serve and nicely dressed. My partner thought the beef burger was OK, nothing to write home about. All in all was a good experience and would recommend coming here for lunch"
