Reviews of Warton Road Small Animal Hospital
"Recently changed to this vet and couldn't be happier! my little Vinnie boy was spoilt and the staff were so caring and helpful.. Thank again!!"
"Good vets and treatment for my cat. The price was reasonable. This was our first visits to this practice. Everyone was very nice. Thank you"
"I found all staff to be friendly and approachable. The veterinarian went above and beyond what was asked and they were affordable. Thanks to the staff for making our visit so enjoyable."
"My dog suddenly became paralysed when I was 18. I immediately took him to this practice, for several visits during his initial paralysis only to be milked out of all the money I had with absolutely no results. After several visits with very minimal care or help, charging me for expressing his bladder (which another vet at another practice showed me how to do myself) , lying saying I will need to come in immediately everyday to express his bladder, about $100 + each time, saying that it would otherwise burst. Which I then learnt wasn't even a thing... they told me theres nothing they could do after milking me of so many unnecessary costs. A money hungry, disgusting place - which then told me all they could then do was consider euthanisation. No other avenues. I felt very uneasy with this practice, so after some suggestions from friends - I took my Pup to New Era vet, we got some scans at Waves, and then further went to rehabilitation therapy, and finally getting a wheelchair. We got about 8-9 months of Scooter in his wheelchair and then sadly had to say goodbye. However I am so glad to have gone to a different practice that gave me other avenues instead of immediately suggesting to put my dog down. I am happy knowing I did everything I could, and New Era vet was amazing with doing everything they could too. This practice did not suggest rehab therapy or wheelchairs when as a vet practice it would have been in the moral obligation to do so. Feels generous giving one star. Avoid. You and your animal deserve a lot better. Vets should know that an animal is a family member - and you wont just give up at the slightest sign of adversity."
