Melanie Moen, a graduate of Adelaide University in 2004, brings a wealth of experience to our practice. With admissions in the Supreme Courts of NSW, South Australia, Victoria, and the High Court of Australia, Melanie has worked in various jurisdictions, including South Australia, Victoria, and the Northern Territory. Her expertise spans across migration law, civil and commercial litigation, insolvency and debt recovery, probate and estate law, and her true passion lies in criminal law. As the Director of our practice, Melanie is an experienced trial solicitor who pays meticulous attention to detail. She values building positive client relationships and is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcome for each case.

Chris Pouras, after a successful career in the financial services industry, pursued his long-standing aspiration of entering the legal profession. Graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide in 2020 and completing the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in June 2021, Chris was admitted as a solicitor and barrister of the Supreme Court of South Australia and as a Registered Practitioner of the High Court of Australia in July 2021. Initially working in family and wills and estates law, Chris joined EDGE LAW in January 2022 to pursue his ambition of working in criminal law. His unwavering dedication to the rule of law drives him to vigorously advocate for his clients' rights and achieve the best possible outcome.
