"I walked in today with the intention of spending some decent money on a birthday outfit. There were two staff working and one customer that I could see. Both staff members saw me and completely ignored me! I wasn’t even given as much as a hello so after a minute of browsing, I walked out. Your loss guys!"

"I came in a few weeks ago on a Sunday. There was a Shona joy dress I wanted in a colour that coco and Lola do not stock, but I wasn’t sure on what size to get when ordering online from Shona joy. I explained this to the girls and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Even knowing they weren’t getting a sale from me they got me the dress (in the colour they had) to try on. They advised this dress was too big and got me a smaller size to try which fit perfectly. Just wanted to say thank you to those lovely girls for helping me (while also dealing with a massive bridal party that was in). Excellent customer service !"

"Have been into the Dalkieth store on several occasions with my daughter. The staff are disinterested and spoke in a condescending manner to customers, pretentious and unwilling to assist. My daughter has emailed head office several times over the last week and has yet to receive a response or even an acknowledgement. I refuse to walk into the store."

"Lol what is the point in this place even existing? Tiny store with a very limited range of items compared to their huge online catalogue. I received a very reluctant “hi, how are you” from the assistant like I was a minor inconvenience for stepping foot inside. 0 welcome or offer of assistance for a place that is mostly for special occasions. A random other assistant that seemingly came out of nowhere put my things in the change room and swiftly disappeared back into the abyss where she came from I suppose. 0 hello from her too. I tried a few things on and out of 2 assistants neither bothered to check on me or offer assistance. The only other girl in there was in the change room and was trying on loads of dresses and thankfully had a friend grabbing the dresses and changing the sizes for her as the assistant completely ignored them and sat on the computer right in front of them the entire time. If you’re considering visiting, please don’t waste your time. Go to Karinyup or Claremont Quarter where you will find most of these brands and more with far better service and range."

"A lovely boutique nestled in the heart of Dalkeith and with a great range. I called up Thursday to enquire about the range of bridesmaids dresses that were available and received some great assistance over the phone. However the experience I had in store was really disappointing. Myself and my 4 bridesmaids came to the store (willing to spend in excess of $1500 if we found the right dress!) and were barely spoken to. Not once after the initial hello, did a shop attendant check on us to see how we were going or offer us any advice. One of my friends is a fuller figured girl (and stunning!) and the treatment she received when she asked whether one of the dresses was available in a larger size was quite upsetting. This was disappointing and distressing to me and my friends. I won’t be considering this store on the next occasion- which is a shame as it’s really a lovely shop with a great range! I would suggest conversations are had with staff members to ensure that everyone who walks through the door feels seen and valued. This would up the star rating significantly in my eyes."
