"Nice Tavern with views on the river. Inside was too noisy due to a baby shower happening. Tables were small for meals when there are a few people having orders on table. I ordered the special roast pork. It was OK but meat was on the tough side."
"We absolutely love this place, although I'm only giving it 3 stars. The venue is awesome - great location and great for families, which we love with two babies. It's just such a shame about the food! It's sooo expensive for what it is. Don't get me wrong, it's nice pub grub but for the price no way. So I'm a tough critic based on that. We went the other night for dinner and our bill was astronomical for two adults. I got the market fish which was $42! That's fine done prices. And my partner got the pasta of the day for $36. A mushroom vegetarian pasta might I add. They were both nice enough but we were so disappointed for the price. My partners mushroom in his pasta was tinned champion mushrooms!! What the. And my fish was one fillet of grilled fish, one roast hasselback baby potato and 2 spears of steamed asparagus. I was in shock for $42. I know there is inflation happening but blimey they must be making a killing on mark up on food and drinks. The Shiraz I was drinking was $13 a small or $22.50 for a large. It was a very expensive trip to the local tavern."
"Ordered crispy chicken sliders, chicken was raw but chef insisted that it was ok. Refused to refund sliders. Ordered lemon and lime bitters, it was more like a bitters drink, was terrible. Our waiter was as miserable as ever, not pleasant at all. Only good thing was the view and the chips. Will not return to this place. Was here 3 weeks ago and ordered Thai fish cakes, they were like rubber could not even cut it."
"The venue is quite well presented, they have a general pub menu with the added sophistication of a cigar menu! Prices are quite good and the drinks menu isn't bad either. We waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive: 2x steak sandwiches, fish cakes and sumac prawns. The prawns were sizzling/scalding hot, the fish cakes warm and both the steak sandwiches and chips cold. While we asked for them to arrive together we presumed that would mean the entrees would be cooler - not the mains. For, roughly $100 worth of food - we wouldn't buy meals again. Just come to have a cigar, good drink and enjoy the stunning view."
