"Visited this pet barn to look at fish and cat food. Overall the store is large, plenty of pet food options and toys, lots of fish to choose from but they had, had a bout of sick fish arrive and a lot of the fish were being segregated and tanked apart to try stop further spread of sickness. The staff were friendly and honest about the fish situation. Answered any questions I had and explained the process, recommending well fish. Although they had sick fish their service was amazing."

"They overcharged me (by almost $35 on a bill that should have been about $120), I had to go back twice for the refund. Tina wouldn’t listen when queried about the membership price, lied about what I’d said to the supervisor, and didn’t know the products in store (I asked about some specific items, she had no idea). I eventually got a refund on the 3rd time back to the store."

"A visit to the store to buy some gold fish flakes for a friends fish that we are looking for has ended up with us owning our own fish tank with 3 red caps. The reason for this is nothing but the absolutely fantastic staff and service at this store. Realising that we were first timers with aquariums, they took us through the entire process extremely patiently and that too on a day where the store was pumping with other customers. They told us to set up the tank and get the water for testing 2 days later which we did and finally have our 3 new friends. A special mention to Rob and Damon who were super helpful, friendly and patient with all our questions. They did also recommend another store to check Out the fish, must admit they did have great fish but everyone was way too busy so we came back to City Farmers for our fish. There was another lady who tested the water for us who was also great. All in all, an absolutely great experience and we would recommend this store for all your pet needs. Thank you guys."
