Dan from Orange cleaning reached out after seeing my dissatisfied review. He was approachable and was disappointed in the service that I had received. As suspected, the clean that was originally provided did not satisfy the agent's standard, but Dan organised an additional clean (at no extra cost to me) in order to get the townhouse up to standard. The cleaners that had come initially were new, so I understand that mistakes can happen. Although it did take a bad review to spark action, I was impressed at how Dan was able to remedy the situation. ~~~~Original review below~~~~ Prompt to pick up phone calls but that's where the professionalism ends. I had Orange perform an end-of-lease cleaning which was suboptimal. The kitchen range hood filters were still greasy, and a stove top surface remained black with charred foodstuff. They hadn't even touched it! When we asked them, the cleaners (while friendly) said that they were in a rush to go to the next job. We ended up speaking to the manager. She had initially quoted me a price, then later said that in order to do the kitchen I had to pay an additional $60! The excuse was that I had understated the number of toilets (when in fact I had stated that there were 2 bathrooms and an additional toilet). Instead of going through another painful round of negotiations, I opted to clean it up myself."
