"loved the Don here, super diverse choices here. First time to try the Chazuke, a bit surprise. According to the recommendation from ins it says Chazuke is a traditional Japanese dish, translating to "submerged in tea" as it is quite literally submerged in a fragrant and warm mix of hot green tea and a dashi broth. Liked"
"Desserts were delicious but our mains were a little hit and miss between v. good and okay. The waitresses were lovely and helpful but some meals arrived when others were almost finished. Bringing out meals at roughly the same time is important when you are eating a a group."
"Fresh sashimi, delicious bowls and more! We had the deluxe sashimi bowl and aburi salmon bowl- did not disappoint. Will be back to try the other dishes. Finished off our meal with matcha gelato and matcha tiramisu (pictured)."
"Haven't eaten there yet. Had a few takeaways before. A weight has been lifted off my shoulders today so my partner and I decided to treat ourselves a nice dinner. Ordered ”Set for two" from Panda Express(an app, and if you choose to pickup yourself, 15% off will be offered.) It has what shows in the photos and a can of coke. This was the second time we ordered this set. The meat in the rice bowls was cooked to perfection. When I say perfection I mean PERFECTION.(Well, with this price, extra perfect?) The sauce could be a bit sweet to some but hey not to these Taiwanese, no. Same comment applied to the chicken skewers. If you haven't tried this restaurant, and you like Asian/Japanese food, give it a go. You won't regret it. We are definitely going back for more."
"We had such a wonderful brunch at this humble and welcoming Japanese restaurant. Decorated with much influence from Japan, from the wall to the cutleries to the bar. It was like we were transported to Japan for a moment. Emily who served us was highly informative with the food and we ordered all of which she had recommended and boy, they didn’t disappoint either! She was friendly and smiley - such a lovely lady! When the food was that good, we knew we had to go revisit the second time and we did! Few days later, we went back for dinner just to ascertain the vibe and of course to try more dishes from the menu. This time around, Ayden greeted us pleasantly and seated us to our table. It was a frantically busy Thursday evening, but he was friendly, well mannered and welcoming. You can tell he’s good at his job! There was Ken too whom I believed was still a trainee, on his second week. He’s meticulously thorough when he was cleaning the tables and preparing the cutleries. It was a breath of fresh air to see how one takes his job so seriously, and how well put together the training this restaurant has for the staffs. I shall let the pictures do the talking. It was reasonably priced for the portion so please do yourselves a favour and make a trip to The Donburi House! Please do ensure you make a reservation before visiting as they get quite busy."
