"Seiko enthusiast!! Excited that they had such a large range!!"
"Staff are friendly and helpful, mid range jewellery is poor quality and I haven't bought a diamond ring yet that doesn't have diamonds fall out. (Haven't bought any over $2000)"
"I have probably just experienced the worst customer service at the Shiels parabanks store. I consider the Australia retail sector to generally be very good interms of understanding customer centricity and to treat customers with the level of dignity and respect deserved by customers who make a purchase and support your business. However, the experience I had with Shiels parabanks today was quite the opposite. There were two female staff members on duty today I.e.Sunday 8th January 2023 from around 3 pm till the store closed at 5pm. Unfortunately the demeanour of one of the two (the one who was shorter in height) was reprehensible. As I belong to a racial minority one tends to assume that such behaviour is racially motivated but in this case I think she was just not interested in us (I was there with my wife and 2 kids) even though we were the only customers in the shop at the time. Even with the pathetic and judgemental looks she gave us my wife who generally gets anxious in such situations didn't say anything and didn't let me say anything ended up buying 2 watches, a pair of studs and a ring to give as gifts, however, when it came time for payment the sales person hurriedly shoved it in one small bag and just handed it to her. No 'thank you', no 'have a good day' nothing... the feeling I got was as if this sales staff just did me and my family a favour by letting us purchase our items from shiels. This is the second time in my life that I have even written a review of this type as I believe in positive reinforcement and professionally work with people with a disability but unfortunately in this instance I just can't ignore it since I suspect there must definitely be a pattern here as she does not deserve to work in customer service with that attitude and what's worse to represent Shiels. Around 4:45 pm when we sat in our car in the parking lot my wife discovered that one of the item (a ring)she bought was missing from the bag that was shoved together for us. So I left my wife and kids in the car and since it was close to closing time, I hurriedly walked over to the store to politelt ask her ( same sales woman) to please check if the ring had been given to us to which she snapped 'where is your receipt'. My question is that since it later turned out that she had infact not given us the ring but what's worse is instead of making at attempt to contact us through our membership details to come back and collect our ring from the store, she had put the ring we had BOUGHT and paid for back on display. She gave me the ring after I showed her a copy of my receipt which my wife took a picture of and sent me from our car and gave me a 1 second token sorry for what could have turned out to be a financially and emotionally disastrous situation while her and shiels got to deny the whole thing. I demand an apology (not a coupon, not money, not voucher) but an apology for the way my family and myself have been treated. I have been shopping at shiels for years and have spent thousands of dollars there (check my membership but even if I hadn't I didn't deserve to be treated this way."
"Worst staff, waste of time, waste of space of a store. Second time I've tried to buy, won't try again. My first visit maybe a month or two ago, I stood there while 3 workers were on, two of which were not dealing with customers but stood chatting, I waited 5 minutes, assumed busy, went to another store and came back, now no customers, all 3 on floor, all of which just ignored my existence. Tonight 25/11/21, one staff member, chatting to a security guard, at first I dont mind, she sees me and they start wrapping up to get to me, cool, then another woman comes into store and the worker immediately served her first? I immediately don't matter all of a sudden despite have waiting, I looked at your staff member who obviously knew she had done wrong and then I walked off. Your staff are ridiculous. I won't be back. Had my card ready to go both visits, knew exactly what I wanted, no service. Disgusting."
"Very quick friendly service. I had the website showing the item I wanted in the browser on my phone, and it said there was stock at this store. Showed the shop assistant the photo, she looked it up on the computer and went and got it out of the display. Bought it ... in and out in 5 minutes."
