"Apparently cannot give lower than 1 star. I sent my 68 year old mother flowers for her birthday, paid $18 delivery and asked they be delivered in the morning as a surprise. Instead, she was called by Bloomex late Friday afternoon of her birthday, and was told she would need to drive 10kms to the depot to get them, and if she didn’t, there was no point, as they wouldn’t last until Monday. She explained that she could not drive at night, but got no sympathy, and had to ask a friend to drive her there. Bloomex’s solution…a $15 in store credit. Just don’t order through these guys. Absolutely bad news."

"My cousin overseas sent me flowers... and was very disappointed. The few spindly, tired carnations and chrysanthemums were nothing like the picture she ordered . Really happy with her thoughts, but embarrassed that an Australian firm is so dismal"

"One star so I can post a review. Received flowers and small gift basket from my son interstate for Mother's Day. Received on Tuesday after the day. Flowers were a sad few sticks of chrysanthemums and a couple princess lillies or something. Poor little flowers! See better at the service station. Gift basket was simply a few random packets of wafer biscuits (!!) A chocolate drink sachet and a coffee filter sachet (do ppl still use them?) Very VERY disappointing. For him AND me! No idea what he paid, but have told him not to use this company in the future."

"If I could give no stars I would! Ordered flowers on a Thursday to be sent on a Saturday to my grieving mother. (Website states they ship on weekends). Received a TEXT and an EMAIL message Saturday at 1:30pm to say that they won't ship to the particular suburb on weekends! I tried calling the number they text on but it said it was disconnected. Emailed to ask why I wasn't notified sooner so I could cancel the order and order elsewhere in time for them to be delivered! Heard nothing. Come Monday morning, I get an email to say that they have been shipped and not cancelled. I ring the main hotline to only get a shockingly delayed telephone conversation from someone I can only assume is in the Philippines who tells me that they never received my email and have shipped the flowers. I had already arranged for flowers to be delivered last minute elsewhere after everything! He then tells me to tell the receiver to refuse the flowers so they can be sent back to the warehouse. Only then will I receive a refund! How humiliating for a grieving receiver to send flowers back? Shocking service and terrible communication. DO NOT USE."

"I sent my girlfriend some flowers this week an I am disgusted with the arrangement that was sent. I ordered the " Sweet Heart Roses in a Mason Jar " and they were nothing like what I had ordered and were way too big for the vase they were sent with. I contacted Bloomex about the order telling them that I was disgusted with what my friend had received and they stuck by the Florist saying, " This bouquet is arranged upon the florist’s choice and the occasion and that the flowers were fresh " So why have a web site if you are not going to get what you ordered. I have attached a photo that was sent to me from my friend on the day of the delivery. My friend contacted me 3 days later to say that the flowers had died, so you judge for yourself. Be careful when using this site. Save your money and go to the supermarket if you can for your flowers."
