Water Garden Pavilion
About the Business
Welcome to the Water Garden Pavilion, located in Kings Park, Western Australia. This establishment is a true point of interest within the State's Botanic Garden, offering a serene and picturesque setting for visitors to gather and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
The Water Garden itself is designed to reflect a natural stream flowing through the Darling Scarp, creating a tranquil atmosphere for all who visit. As you explore the pavilion, you will be captivated by the tumbling stream and peaceful pond that it overlooks. Connected by walkways from the Pioneer Women's Memorial Fountain and the western end of the Lotterywest Federation Walkway, this venue offers a seamless connection to the surrounding park.
Surrounded by a lush, undulating lawn area shaded by mature eucalyptus trees, the Water Garden Pavilion is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Whether you're seeking a peaceful escape or a place to gather with friends and family, this location provides the ideal setting.
Please note that the Water Garden Pavilion is not recommended for catered functions or individuals with limited mobility, as there is no vehicle access to the site. All catering and function equipment must be manually transported to the venue. Additionally, parking in Kings Park is restricted to visitors only, so please plan accordingly.
In addition to the Water Garden Pavilion, Kings Park offers a range of other attractions and activities. For those with a creative flair, we invite crochet and knitting enthusiasts to join us in creating the most Instagrammable arch of the year. Get ready to 'arch and pose-y'!
We are proud to share that thanks to overwhelming support from the Perth community, Kings Park's conservation efforts have a bright future through the Lightscape initiative. Your visit to the Water Garden Pavilion contributes to the ongoing preservation of this beautiful natural space.
Furthermore, as a tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of Australian servicemen and women who fought in the Korean War, a memorial has been unveiled in Kings Park. This memorial stands as a symbol of remembrance and gratitude, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the armistice.
We invite you to visit the Water Garden Pavilion and experience the beauty and tranquility that it offers. Entry is free, and the pavilion is open daily. For any inquiries, please feel free to contact us at ( 61 8) 9480 3600 or via email at enquiries@bgpa.wa.gov.au.

"This is a small water garden resides within the Kings Park, very beautiful and serene. While the walking path were marked with the centenary of women's suffrage in Western Australia, however, some parts are lack of maintenance and requires some up-keeping. Certain parts are rather confusing."
