Our founder, Wilf Struchlak, embarked on his accounting journey in 1968 as a Trainee Accountant for a construction company in Berri, South Australia. Despite a temporary pause due to military service, Wilf resumed his studies in 1972 and gained valuable experience working for H&R Block Tax Accountants before establishing his own private practice in 1984.

What started as a part-time venture from his home in Salisbury soon grew into a full-time operation in Wayville, where Wilf employed his wife Jeanette as the Practice Manager. Over the years, our business expanded, and we relocated to offices in Hindmarsh Square, Adelaide, in 1995. With growth came the addition of more staff members, including Wilf's daughters Nardia, Ursula, and Vanessa, who joined the team in various roles.

Since October 2015, Wilf's Accounting Services has been conveniently located in Innovation House at 50 Mawson Lakes Boulevard, Mawson Lakes. Our modern and well-equipped office space allows us to serve our clients efficiently and effectively.

Wilf Struchlak, the founder of Wilf's Accounting Services, has been a respected member of the Institute of Public Accountants since 1979. He is also a Registered Tax Agent with the Tax Practitioner's Board since 1986 and a Fellow and Chartered Tax Adviser of the Taxation Institute of Australia.

Effective from July 1, 2018, Ursula Johnson has taken over the practice and operates through the company ALB Professional Services Pty Ltd, trading as Wilf's Accounting Services. Ursula, a graduate of the University of South Australia with a Bachelor Degree in Commerce, has been a Member and Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants since 2003 and a registered Tax Agent since 2010. With prior experience as an Accountant and Tax Agent at our institution since 2002, Ursula brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as Director.

Vanessa, who joined Wilf's Accounting Services in 2012, has completed tertiary studies in Business Management, specializing in Accounting and Budgeting. She is proficient in using MYOB and Thomson Reuters Tax Assistant Software packages, including payroll processing and completion of income tax returns.

Nardia, our office administrator, has been an integral part of Wilf's Accounting Services since 1999, providing valuable support after completing her high school studies. Jeanette, Wilf's wife, has also been a dedicated member of our team, handling reception, customer relations, data entry, and basic bookkeeping for several clients.
