"I like the new layout - the addition to the cold / frozen products. It is awesome. Somehow makes it look better kept, more modern. However, the times I have been there they have been playing awful music. Nothing that would want me to spend more time than necessary. Not sure why they play such disturbing music. I limit my shopping there because of that. Would have given a 4 star but ...."

"I go here every day in the mornings on the way to work to get fruit or meat specials. Everyone is absolutely lovely and the customer service from every single person in this store is second to none. The owner obviously realises the importance of great staff as they are fantastic. Fruit and vegetables are fresh and the meat is very nice."

"Super convenient and recently had a facelift however the fresh produce and meat has always been sub standard. Price is what you pay and value is what you get….I’m this case the prices are good but my goodness sometimes it’s just rubbish. Over November / December 2022 we had 3 cases of rancid meat. Each time I went back and discussed with the checkout attendant and said maybe they have a fridge issue. I was advised they have had a lot of returned meat lately….umm if you have a problem then you trash the meat and restock. Surely just leaving it to chance is risking serious health issues to customers. Anyway finally doing a review today as I have just defrosted fish purchased and frozen immediately in December and yet again it’s rancid. Suggest IGA Scarborough; smaller, less choice but way higher quality."

"fruit/veg and meats are so tasty. recent addition of ready to eat meals and gourmet section is also amazing. friendly, hard working staff. store management confirms fresh produce is delivered several times a week to the store. consistently fresh. i look forward to shopping there again. fair prices for the quality too.
