"We bought a fish tank and fish from this store for our daughter’s birthday. Unfortunately bad timing on our part, we bought the fish tank days before the store put it on sale (no price guarantee here), that’s just unlucky on our part. Although I’m always impressed when other stores let customers know if they are going to have a sale in a few days for larger purchases. Not this store though. We stabilised the water before going back to buy the fish. Based on their advice, we bought 3 ‘female’ guppies so they wouldn’t breed. One guppy died within two days and by day 3 one gave birth to 16 guppies….. so I’m assuming their staff don’t really know how to tell the difference between guppy genders or have no regard where they buy their stock from. The tank we have is recommended for only 8 small fish. My husband went back to the store for some assistance, and received a very poor response that the fish died because of our water (not true as we have had the water checked) and it was just too bad that the fish we purchased had babies which will be far too many for the tank we have. No help or advice and very poor customer service. I definitely do not recommend this store and we wish we had listened to others and gone to Vegas down the road! We will from now on. Anyone want some guppys?"
