"Came in last night on a Monday night 1 hour before closing and they still treated me quite well and took their time with my nails. Got gel builder removed from another salon and manicure, shellac for $49 which I think is quite worth it ! I would come back here and think the recent renovations look great."

"I recently went to House of Polish to get my lash extensions done after I received a gift voucher from a friend. I had read multiple positive reviews and felt confident in my decision to come to this salon. Unfortunately my experience was anything but pleasant. I made an appointment and called in advance to confirm but when I came in at the designated time, the lash tech wasn’t even on site. I was told to come back in an hour, which I reluctantly did because I was still happy to get the service done. Even when I came back after an hour, I was made to wait a further 40 minutes before I could get my service done. The woman who was doing the service was quite rude, I also had to share the treatment room with another client which I found to be quite unprofessional, there were plenty of other rooms available. When my service was finished, my bottom and top eyelashes were partially stuck together, the lash tech offered no advice for aftercare, I had to see another lash tech at a different salon for advice. While taking the proper care to look after them, they only lasted a few days before they started to fall out - taking my natural lash with it! This was the first time this had happened to me. After only 1 week most of my extensions AND natural lashes had fallen out, I was considerably upset. I contacted the business to try and resolve the issue as something like this should not have happened, and instead of offering a solution I was told that they already did the service and it was not their responsibility for any damage it had caused. I would absolutely not recommend anyone use their services, and I certainly won’t be going back."

"I was still welcomed in to have my nails done, even though I had arrived just before they were about to close up. The lovely technician still took her time and worked her magic on my nails...love them!"

"I’ve been a regular at the place, but unfortunately the quality of the services has gotten worse. First, it’s a mess… you have to explain and repeat what you want to different people multiple times-it’s like they don’t communicate to each other. My pedicure was horrible. Then a lady came to check if it was dry and put her finger on my nails and it blurred some of them which she tried to fix with her finger again. It looked terrible then she decided to remove and do it again. Very badly done. It happened before, but I never complained because we can see the staff is extremely busy and as long as it looks ok I’m fine with it, but today was too much. I left and went to another place to get another pedi as I’m going to travel and would like to look nice. They wanted to charge me extra for something they said they gave me the wrong price and I said I explained what services I was looking for to at least 4 people, the girl didn’t charge me but she was with an upset face for the rest of my time there. You have now a bigger and better place, you could try to be more organised and treat customers with more respect."
