Reviews of Playford International College
"Do NOT send your children here. The amount of bullying and physical violence I witnessed at this school was appalling. The teachers don't care. And if you're neurodivergent or have stuff like anxiety or depression they don't help you at all. When I was on the edge of suicide from my depression and anxiety I asked for help and they essentially told me I'm just a number in the system. This school only worsens your mind. There's so many gangs and illegal activities at this school. This kid in my class literally had a bag of weed and he was dealing it across the yard. I literally saw a student throw a teacher on the ground too. The only good teachers are Miss Resce and Miss Mcgill. Multiple students have committed and attempted suicide at this school."
"My son was stabbed in the bathrooms, came home with a hole in his chest, rushed to the hospital and died that night, unbelievable. You would think the teachers would make the school a safe environment but NO. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO PLAYFORD"
"The skl is great if you stop the violence and when a new kid shows up you suggest some people in their class to show them around the skl and get to know the skl better and better teaching after what happened to the threats they need to take things seriously"
"This school is discusting right now they don't care about the students and there safety right now they ain't helping the kids with their emotional wellbeing with the threats done to the school. Alot of kids are having anxiety issues and they ain't even checking on them . Why do the notifications to parents come through at the end of the day not early we have to see it on the news"
"Some of their staff need to go back to university and could also do with some mental health studies while theyre at it. Cameras all round, yet when I asked for proof of an incident. Suddenly none of them are actually connected! Refusal to see the continual set up My autistic son was placed in, by another female student, and him being labelled the monster, because he can't express himself properly!! (Only one staff member Karen herself saw this and i thank her for that) The lengths I had to go to, to prove he was being provoked, all whilst trying to care for my terminal husband, was disgusting. The lack of support for My son with them knowing this, was disgusting. To have a random student from another school enter the grounds and attempt to attack My son also. The security was already supposed to be heightened at that point due to events at the school with other students. Where was it? My sons first year of high school was nothing short of a write off!! With me having to pull him out, with fear of how far his mental health was going to deteriorate due to the continual torment of another student, and lack of understanding by certain staff, all while having to cope with his dad being terminal too! Should have followed gut instinct and previous reviews. Had the school have checked in on this students past records at her last school. They would have seen what she does and the damage she does. But no, one particular teacher continued to portray her as a saint, and my son the monster. Resulting in me feeling the need to remove my son from the school. She's the one with the record, not my son! Do your research Mark and do better! I have the evidence on my phone between the two! You couldn't provide on your end, when asked. But were very quick to aggressively judge my son! I don't do accusations and he said she said! I do proof!!! And the schools lucky I don't upload the filth that my son was put through behind closed doors, and at school, that you continually defended this other student for!! There's your review!"
