Over the years, Winthrop Hall has hosted numerous prestigious events, including the Rally Australia Ball, productions by the West Australian Opera and Oz Opera, performances by the Choir of Kings College, Cambridge, and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra. The Hall has also had the honor of welcoming prime ministers, presidents, and heads of state, and it served as the venue for the 2011 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, graced by the presence of Her Majesty the Queen.
