"They told me I need a script to get something to relieve my dizziness/vertigo. I’ve had vertigo on and off for my whole life and have always been able to go to a nearby chemist and get something over the counter when I need temporary relief. I need something to relieve my dizziness right now, 7:30pm on my Mums birthday and we have $200 worth of takeaway in the car to take home to the family and I’m suppose to go and find a doctor that can see me now for some immediate relief? What a joke. Trinity medical centre far more helpful, save yourself the trouble and go there."

"It truly pains me to write this review as normal visits to United Chemist Paralowie are always otherwise pleasant. I visited the chemist today to fill some scripts, one of which was from the hospital. Lindy served me, and I think she could benefit from some compassion and people skills/customer service skills. I didn’t realise that two pieces of paper were required for the hospital script, I simply thought the hospital was giving two separate scripts. Lindy kindly alerted me to this, however when I questioned her about further, things did not go so well. I asked about the two pieces of paper, she said “one is for you, and one is for us” quoting her words. I then sought further clarification asking why I needed to bring both pieces if one was for me anyway, her responses grew quite short and abrupt stating “because you do”. She then proceeded to hold up and wave around a bundle of other customer scripts and then demonstrated how in a usual (non hospital) script there are two copies. Ok, thank you, I completely understand now after this explanation, but the delivery of her responses indicated being incredibly defensive and not geared towards impressive customer service. Lindy you did not know this, but this week for my family has been very challenging, and I was at the hospital all night with my husband, watching him in agony and unable to help him. All I needed from you was compassion and understanding with my questions, and instead I was made to feel like a bad person for asking constructive questions. I truly hope the elderly and vulnerable are better looked after as this would be a difficult interaction for them if they had asked the same simple questions. I didn’t mind going home to get the second piece of paper, I was not aggressive and there was no need to become defensive and abrupt. Everyone else during my encounter today, including Natasha and the two pharmacists were lovely and I sincerely thank them for their help."
