We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our students, such as Nicholas Di Falco, James Neal, and Jordan Watson, who recently represented Australia and our College at the RoboCup International Championships in Bordeaux, France. Despite being debutants on the global stage, our team showcased their talent and determination, securing an impressive 14th place out of 30 teams. They even excelled in the written and presentation sections of the competition, a testament to their dedication and hard work.

Throughout their journey, our team faced various challenges, including the need to replace components and refine their robot's performance. However, their unwavering determination propelled them forward, resulting in a truly rewarding and enriching experience. The knowledge and insights gained from this competition will undoubtedly contribute to their growth and future success.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr John O'Shea, our Engineering Teacher, Mrs Susan Carrick, Deputy Principal - Staff Growth and Pedagogy, and the parents and caregivers of our team for their support and dedication in making this opportunity possible.

The 2023 Quiz Night, organized by the Sacred Heart College P&F, will be a fantastic opportunity for everyone to gather and connect while fundraising for our College initiatives. Sports play a significant role in our institution, and we take pride in the accomplishments of our hockey and AFL teams. Our hockey team, coached by Mrs Daley, showcased their skills and determination, triumphing over formidable opponents to secure victory in the Grand Final. Similarly, our AFL boys' team, under the guidance of Mr Skerratt and Mr Clement, emerged as champions in the ACC's North Metro Eagles' Cup, qualifying for the Grand Final. These achievements highlight the dedication and talent of our students in the realm of team sports.
