Please note that as a policy, our doctors at Family Health Medical Group do not prescribe Schedule 8 Drugs and Drugs of Addiction, including opiates and benzodiazepines, to new patients at their first appointment. If you are already on these medications, we will conduct a review with your new doctor to discuss the continuation of this treatment. We require access to your previous medical records to determine if these medications are appropriate for you.

Currently, we are unable to accept new patients as we are at capacity. However, we hope to reopen new patient bookings in the near future. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Please be aware that as of July 17th, 2023, our fees have slightly increased. Patients over the age of 16 without a concession will have a small gap payment on all consultations. Additionally, bulk billing will no longer be available on weekends. We understand that the Medicare rebate does not fully cover the cost of providing quality care, and these changes are necessary to ensure the sustainability of our services.
