"We found Dr Suleiman to very helpful and thorough with my daughter and our family. My daughter doesn’t usually warm up to strangers straightaway but Dr Suleiman made her feel very comfortable from the beginning. Talking us through everything with care and consideration. The whole team has been very helpful from the beginning and we highly recommend them to anyone that is considering going down this path."
"It’s a scam don’t go there! I was charged $2200! The paediatrician wanted to talk In front of my 6 year old son while he sat there listening for 1hr on all the things he battles with. Are you kidding me!! She then did her assessment had him stand on one foot and asked him to sing a song then asked him to draw a triangle! THATS IT. My child has a normal IQ and has ADHD she spoke to him like he was globally delayed. Then said he has ADHD. But we can’t treat him and have no way to refer you on! Also said I can take her report and have another Paed treat him. Parents you cannot take one clinics report and have your child treated at another clinic! I’m taking this to ACCC. I’m a desperate parent who had to raise $2200 for what. For the pead to get my son to draw a triangle!!!"
"Sent a blank unaddressed invoice in January with an email saying there’s a spot from the wait list. Getting hold of anyone from this place has been ridiculously impossible. I’ve left multiple messages asking for a proper invoice and for a call back. The call back number was absolutely useless. A phone number I was given was for someone in TAS. Every person I’ve phone or emailed seems incapable of answering those two basic questions."
"Had a nightmare experience. My son was seeing a clinical psychologist that works predominantly with kids with ASD and ADHD. He came to the conclusion that my son meets the dsm5 diagnostic criteria for ASD and ADHD he suggested I go to patches as it's usually an 18 month wait to see a paediatrician to be diagnosed, as only a paediatrician and psychiatrist TOGETHER can diagnose him. I was referred and had a bunch of questions to answer prior as well as some feedback from his old teacher. Who is not at all qualified or educated in ASD and ADHD. I told them he has no issues with speech but I guess it's just a part of it he sees a speech pathologist. He passed that. He then had a telehealth appointment with Dr Angela Wilson and no psychiatrist. She spent 15 mins asking him about school then spoke to me for about 10 mins explaining that in her opinion he does not have it. I was extremely upset as ASD is a huge spectrum and I explained that he is high masking. She was going on the feedback of his teacher. I explained she doesn't know much or that my son masks because he wants to be liked and she does not see the meltdown side of him. This teacher didn't see the overly emotional side and my son was getting bullied and she didn't even notice him getting hit in her class. The assessment was absolute BS there were no questions that would be used in an ASD assessment and now I have to go through hell getting his clinical psychologist involved and talking to patches about a complaint or even going to the medical board about this. It was completely unacceptable. I was not listened to or heard and after $3300 I was not helped in the slightest. I might as well set that money on fire."
"Great place for children's assessments. Also, if you are considering moving interstate, they have numerous offices around Australia. So as I understand the transfer to another paediatrician can be done easily, without going onto another lengthy waitlist. The only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is the accounting department has held up releasing reports numerous times. The doctors are excellent though."
