QDOS Ultrasound

"My wife and I felt so fortunate to have Bev perform our scans as she no doubt is one of the best in her field. Unfortunately we also had Bev deliver us tragic news which she is no doubt one of the worst in her field. Bev came across uninterested, spoke in too much medical jargon and flat out appeared jaded with her role. She admitted herself she is "blunt", however this is not a trait one should embrace when informing someone over the loss of their children. We were quickly hurried into a side room where I thought we would receive some sort debrief/counsel however this room is specially designed to receive payment away from other expectant mothers. It didn't have to be like that."

"Don’t expect warmth coming out of the frozen box that is QDOS team. Bev is literally the best because she is clinically so detailed orientated. But as an FYI, if you have had a miscarriage, they will actively tell you “miscarriages mean nothing” or they will blame you for having a total placenta abruption with your first baby by saying “you should of known” or “someone woman are meant to die in childbirth”. Good luck, make good choices. Hi Debbie, as I tried to explain to the receptionist before she would cut me off each time. You sent me a text saying I needed a new referral, I called and explained I wasn’t seeing the OB until April and would rebook once I got the new referral as the one I provided was not suitable. So no response needed to a text cause I called the day of the text message - which I am sure your system can pick up. Second appointment was mis-scheduled on your part for the 25/3 which should of been 1/4. No text message was received and of course I wouldn’t call because I knew I didn’t have an appointment on that day until my OB called me that afternoon, left a voicemail on the day of the 25/03 - I have proof of call history. Regardless, I did try and explain this but got cut off each time so I am not going to continually try and speak when the receptionist wasn’t even giving me a chance to talk. Definitely not sensitive staff experience at any aspect of any scans however kept attending as you guys were advised as clinically strong. Thanks and all the best. Erin"

"We had our first trimester ultrasound with Adele and the experience was even better than we had hoped for. The receptionists were kind, calming and friendly and Adele was an absolute God-send: genuinely caring, intuitive, supportive and informative- answering ever one of my questions and concerns with reassurance and patience. The ultrasound with Adele felt more like an experience with family or close friends, which was exactly what we needed as our family all live far away. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we are looking forward to our next visit!"

We don't need to feel like we are there with something wrong with us, so I really appreciated her being so kind. Good job."
