"The rooms and staff here can be great. Unfortunately however they also have some very rude staff which are utterly disrespectful and they refuse to recognise my mother's birthday or do anything special for her because her birthday happens to be on new years eve and they call this a "black out day" Decided to give them another chance and the service was absolutely terrible, they charge $7 delivery fee for all room service orders on top of what the item costs and even charge you $7 to take away the dishes and empty tray. Absolutely no communication about any of it at any stage of our check in. You can order from doordash for less then this. Housekeeping staff were incompetent and rude. There was black hairs sticking out of the hand sanitiser in our bathroom and the floors were dirty. Staff kept saying that housekeeping would attend immediately but they didn't resolve everything until 7.30pm at night. Even a simple request like help with our baggage the staff never showed. Management at concierge refused any sort of compensation for the poor service and didn't seem to want to take responsibility. We cancelled our next booking and not sure we will stay here again. I don't recommend anyone else to stay here either plenty of other hotels that will treat you with respect and not charge outrageous fees."

"Nice hotel, staff service is friendly and 24/7 room service is good. The breakfast place is very nice selection and quality, a bit oily in the meats but otherwise very good Asian and Indian selection with delicious deserts. Would stay again"

"Ok, good things first. Hotel is certainly lovely, facilities second to none, staff attentive and thoughtful and all food I had was delicious. The bed is the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. The room could do with a bit of a dust (esp the lights hanging from the ceiling) and there was a half opened carton of milk left in my minibar. I also found it a bit annoying that the TV was to the side of the bed so you couldn't actually watch TV in bed. Lastly, a desk light would be good as the table is excellent for working but the light, once the sun goes down, is not. The biggest grievance with my stay however was that I work long shifts and was simply exhausted. I had treated myself to a quiet weekend away from family to simply sleep and get some much needed paperwork done. For this reason I specifically requested a quiet room on a high floor. I was however given a room on the lower third, right next to the lifts and next to a young family!! So annoying toddler noise and repeated door slamming night and day, as well as the coming and goings from the lifts. I raised this at checkout and the checkout lady kindly offered me a free bottle of wine, which I however declined. I have enough wine at home. What I don't have at home and what I was after was solitude :-("

"Have been dining at Epicurean for a long time now. As a dining experience the buffet is hard to beat. Very attentive staff, good selection of food and drink. Excellent atmosphere. Highly recommended, though it goes without saying make sure your credit card is in good working order."

"Only 1 robe (second provided promptly). TV didn't work. Room service breakfast only had plates and cutlery for 1. I accidentally left my suit hanging in the closet (obviously my mistake). Called back and apparently housekeeping hadn't found any lost property in the room and there was nothing they could do. I insisted they check again given it is a black suit bag in a black closet and given the above issues the housekeeping clearly isn't paying perfect attention to detail. Was told they looked again but didn't find it. Was told I should retrace my steps. I hung my suit up and went straight home the next day! Either their staff stole it or housekeeping missed it and the next guest took it. My suggestion to review cameras was ignored. Very disappointed."
