A short walk from the settlement, you'll find Vlamingh Lookout, the perfect spot to witness some of the most breathtaking sunsets on the island. With the majestic Wadjemup lighthouse in the distance and a picturesque cloud cover, the sight is truly awe-inspiring and not to be missed.
On a scorching hot day, there's nothing quite like a jump off the jetty before lunch. "Average vibe inside with sports TVs on loud all around. Nice location if sitting outside however inside it doesn't feel like Rottnest. Food overpriced and of mediocre quality. Live concerts are great"
"Always so let down by the food here. Over summer we had to send our warm oysters back and the burgers were so plain. Yesterday during winter season we shared a $45 steak (tiny steak with old salad and no fries) and a $36 pumpkin salad main. Both of those items together would make a main for an average eater. With an amazing location and small menu, I hope they can start doing better as it was very quiet."
"An easy walk from the Jetty, stopped in for lunch and was easily able to find a table with room for a pram without reservation. Food arrived very quickly and the fish and chips were the best in WA. Bonus points for Quokka's stopping by."
"Near the main jetty, believe this small jetty in front of Hotel Rottnest is meant for some private boats/cruises. There were only few private boats when we were here. Nice place for a stroll, no facility though."
