"Friendly local staff though a lot of self serves now. Clean well organised well stocked one of the better Coles. It'd be good though if markdown times were a bit more random seems to be raided by the same group of people all the time to the detriment of other shoppers. Can't markdown the store for the decisions of their corporate owners, most Coles have gone primarily self serve sad to see missing faces though."
"Large, busy supermarket. Was disappointed to see it has gone the way of so many Coles supermarkets and it no longer has checkout service. All self serve. This can be difficult for people with challenges/disabilities! And then their are those who enjoy the social contact of just a quick chat with a friendly staff member!"
"Shock Disorders, Had my 8yr old daughter with me tonight and was watching a ramped junkie sweating thief rampaging through the meat display, couldn't believe our eye's then runs out with no contest, how does this happen how does Coles let this happen. "25th of the 7th 2023, 1:50 p.m. Register 117 receipt 617 assisted checkout. I was really distressed by the way customers treated one of your staff at this time above I know this happens to a lot of stuff and so I just wanted to speak out about it. I believe the lady's name is Jennifer. In the short period that I was going through assisted check out Two customers were extremely rude to Jennifer and even though I felt like dipping them in hot tar and feathers, Jennifer continued to be nice. It was so distressing to me that it made me think that maybe they need to have a security guard as allowing this type of behaviour towards the staff is really unacceptable. I'm not sure what sort of support is given but if it was me even though I'm a big boy I reckon I would have gone home and cried through a whole box of tissues. Thanks Jennifer for helping me as at the time you may not know but I do suffer some mental health and you took the initiative to have a product called Gas mate Cartridges brought up to me as you heard that I was on the phone looking around town to find some. You rang somebody up and they brought them up for me. This just saved me so much time and the price was great . It's my first time in Gawler And I truly believe the first person you meet gives you a feeling for the whole town. So thanks again."
