Reviews of Engineering Institute of Technology
"Purely from a customer service perspective. Useless, penchant for not helping after you have done the course to obtain materials. Will never use them again. Imagine not providing after sales support to people in the industry. This is just a business that outsources to cheaper people around the world and charge more depending where you say you are doing the course from. All sorts of bad practice. From a course standpoint, my lecturer was good but without the material my experience is obviously significantly tainted."
"Poorly organised, staff couldn't get their act together to give me access to the course after I deferred. Then told me I had to enrol into a new intake because of xyz. In reality I sent numerous emails over about 6 months trying to gain access but got very few responses. Was told I'd be put in a new intake that had only just started meaning i'd have to go through the entire 18 month course even though I only had a few subjects to complete. Later found out multiple people I'd been in contact with were no longer employed by EIT, can hardly blame them. I wouldn't work for Paul Celenza either."
"Studying at EIT was to me, an exciting experience and self-re-discovery. The learning process was organised from the start, and the engineering courses were direct and taken by qualified lecturers who gave every attention to details. I must say that the practical approach used in explaining some of the fundamentals of structural engineering designs are what I will recommend to anyone interested in exploring and understanding the complex realms of civil engineering knowledge. Indeed, I look forward to being part of this wonderful and amazing journey again with the best of scholars the EIT can offer. My congratulations to all coursemates. Cheers and see you guys next time!"
"EIT has modern cutting edge technology and good resources that any student requires to study Online. Students work in groups to complete projects or access remote Labs using softwares and they can interacts with other students and even Lecturers or with Learning support officers to assist students to excel as a top graduate Engineering student. The skills and knowledge with experience i gained at EIT helped me become successful in Electrical Engineering career."
"When enrolling in the unit as full time, EIT said they will help you. But they cannot. response very slow. i have completed 2 units from Aug to Nov 2021 and completing 2 units this year. used to write a review about the another unit. I feel the mid term test is different from tutorial and lecture material. EIT said will help me review, but now it is over 1 month i have no update. you have to complete 4 assignments for each unit which equals 8 total for 3 months. and the last 4 will be in one month. software is not covered in the unit and you will need to learn yourself via youtube. if you can get help from lecturer early sure they can help. but if you need to work on other assignment as well. then will be very hard for you. think about it carefully if you work full time. also if you go to lecturer ask for earlier help will be useful as well. All units are not hard compare to uni level, most lecturer just read lecture notes. Study most yourself. will be a good idea if you want to get a certificate to change your career, but not for those who really want to learn something. unless you are just a student then you will have enough time to study and ask questions. Not recommended by me only. i advised lecturer the tutorial about final assignment can be introduced earlier not the last tutorial. he argued that assignment is posted really early can ask questions any time. but you only know what to ask when you have a general idea of how to start it."
