"On Friday 6/01/23, I drove a one hundred fifty kilometre round trip for nothing. You see I wanted to buy some Boral Capri concrete roof tiles. The tiles that are advertised on the Lutum website as available for pick up from their Pooraka sales/warehouse facility. I checked on their website, yes they’re open, yes they had stock, so off I went with tile in hand to ensure that I purchased the correct profiled tile. On entering the sales office, the young lady there said that we don’t make that tile anymore. What? No we don’t make that tile anymore that is an old one (14 years old) and she kindly gave me the details of 3 tile recyclers in Adelaide. On contacting them, one is closed for Christmas, one doesn’t stock roof tiles and the last one is no longer in business. So, two and half hours of wasted time, petrol and sheer frustration. A Boral Capri tile is not a Boral Capri tile as advertised, they are not available as advertised and Lutum’s website is a total waste of time. Another Australian company gone down the tube."
