"Staff not so great as a friend and I have been turning up at the same time each Monday for a few weeks now and on each occasion we are looked at as if it's the first time we've been there. This is at 3 pm and we are the only people there. I order my drink and then we are asked if there's anything else. Ah, given that there are two of us it's likely that there is. The feeling of being an inconvenience by ordering another drink is almost palpable. 5 pm comes around and a staff member wanders over to tell us that the table we are sitting at is booked for 5.30. We are still the only people in the place and half a glance would tell you that we are about done with our drinks and most likely ready to leave. Again, as we have done in the past. The inability of the people employed here to relate to their customers is truly mind boggling. We won't be back"

"My partner and I and another friend all went for lunch there on Saturday it was a first time for us but on invitation from the friend thats been before . We couldn't have been more impressed with the food quality the salad and vegie bar was excellent , the service and the value . We will definately be going back to the grand North ."

"I enjoyed the food. They had standard pub meals eg steak, chicken parmie etc The stand out thing was they had unlimited side dishes like mash potatoes and coleslaw etc Usually other places only give u a small amount of this to go with your steak"

"There's something wrong at the grand north we went yesterday and the food was over cooked and dry. I have loved coming here in the past however unless the management actually start reading the reviews they will never know how bad things are . I will now wait and watch the reviews as they come in for a while and maybe return when things change for the better as they used to be. I have read a few reviews going back 2-3 months this morning after our visit and those reviews are Not Good sorry grand north just not up to scratch ☹️☹️☹️☹️"

"Very pleasant lunch was shared here. We didn't book so where lucky to get a small table, as the place was very busy. Staff where friendly and helpful, and prices where good, with the only small suggestion I'd have being that people should perhaps be greeted and seated a bit more efficiently. We kind of milled around, not knowing quite what to do until a helpful passing member of staff sorted out a table for us and dug up some menues. Its a minor hiccup in an otherwise very enjoyable experience. We'll go back....soon!"
