"Altone Park is great. The main oval is huge, we had 4 large groups of hockey training sessions, a men’s AFL team training and multiple families walking their dogs on the grounds at the same time and there was still 1.5 football oval areas available for use. Although it is a huge grass area, there are trees around the park providing shade and wind breaks. The mammoth grassed areas are open to the public and whilst it is a great area, there are the usual uneven areas that occur with a high use ‘natural’ area. There are public toilets adjacent to the skate and basketball (half) court. At the time, the facilities were clean. The Aboriginal art work on this building is really lovely too and is a great conversation starter for families with children. There is a huge amount of paved parking and a Clubhouse. This building is relatively medium inside with toilets and an indoor bar/counter."
"We had amazing experience at Alton park multicultural festival, where people came from different culture and shared their culture by providing food stall, traditional cloths stall and dances. It was free camel ride and face painting. Children enjoyed camel ride first time ever and learn how fire engine works when there is fire."
"Nice beautiful park for the kids to enjoy."
"Love this park, so many great activities to do. With beautifully kept lawns, it is always a pleasure to visit and walk around. Plenty of space for families and dogs alike with a skate park, library, fitness centre and golf club right nearby."
"A lot of things to do, library, pool gym... They are a friendly bunch.. Reasonable prices plus kids area BBQ + picnic area"
