About the Business
Welcome to Alkimos Beach Aquatics, a new home-based swimming school located in the beautiful Alkimos Beach Estate in Australia. Our institution is proud to be endorsed by The Royal Life Saving Society of WA, ensuring that our students not only learn the fundamental strokes but also gain essential safety, survival, and rescue skills.
At Alkimos Beach Aquatics, we offer smaller classes which allow us to personalize our lessons and focus on each child's specific needs to help them progress towards their next swimming level. We believe in building confidence in the water, ensuring that our students can survive in emergency situations until help arrives or assist others in doing so.
Our programs include the Infant Aquatics Program, designed for babies as young as 6 months up to 3 years old. This program focuses on various strands of development and requires a parent or guardian to be in the water with the child. Additionally, we offer Levels 1-6 of the Swim and Survive program, a comprehensive swimming and water safety program recommended for children aged 3 and above. This program aligns with the National Swimming and Water Safety Framework and develops skills across different areas.
Our lessons are 30 minutes long, providing ample time for effective learning and practice. We maintain small class sizes, typically consisting of 2 children, although in some cases, it may be a maximum of 3 children per lesson.
If your child is unable to attend a lesson, we offer the option to make up the missed lesson. When you purchase a 10-week block, you will receive one makeup lesson that can be used in case of illness. A medical certificate from any medical professional, such as a GP or pharmacist, is required to avail of the makeup lesson.
