"Not inclusive - don’t consider stepkids or parents as family. It is a bitter pill to swallow when you’re raising someone else’s kids who live with you, yet they won’t consider your child as part of the family given it’s not a blood relation. Not progressive, and I find it discriminatory."
"Honestly worst school EVER i got bullied during middle school ( im in yr 8). Lots of snobby rich kids and really bad therapist"
"Our child has special needs and the school is well aware of his needs during enrollment for year 2. They assured us they can provide him with the support he requires. After 1 term and meeting with School psychologist they recommended we find him a new school. We feel the school has given up on our child. When our child had a melt down we get told he is disrupting the class. Instead of comforting him and work around what triggers him we get a call to pick him up. That is St Marks solution to everything. They said our child wasn't the same as when they saw him at his old school. Yes blame they child for the schools inability to help and work with kids with needs. We find the school lacking in compassion, support and empathy. They go by a one system fit all and if your child don't fit they will feel ostracized. If we knew what we know now we wouldn't have sent him here. They good at selling it but for us they didn't deliver."
"I have 2 daughters that go to this school. I would take the disgruntled negative reviews with a pinch of salt. I have found the staff to be fantastic and if there are any issues or problems they have been dealt with in a fair way. I think it's great value for money in the private school sector and communication with the teachers has always been good. One minor gripe, it would be good for the girls if they were able to wear some more comfortable clothing, the boys have it easy. However you won't be disappointed."
"this school does not care about your child's mental health at ALL. they will constantly blame the child and their psychologist will just tell them to "get over it". they will victim-blame and pick on your child, and your child will likely be depressed after going there. there is no care for your child and they will only ever care for their grades and not having any individuality at all either. your child will not be able to express themselves at this school. please reconsider."
