About the Business
Welcome to Maylands Waterland, located at 32 Clarkson Road in Maylands, Australia. We are thrilled to announce that our institution is now open to the public, offering a range of exciting water features that operate daily from 9am to 5pm.
As an amusement park and point of interest, Maylands Waterland is the perfect destination for families and individuals seeking a fun-filled day out. Our establishment boasts a variety of waterplay elements that remain operational throughout the summer months, ensuring endless entertainment for visitors of all ages.
With a redevelopment project costing $4.4 million, Maylands Waterland has undergone significant improvements to enhance your experience. Our facility now includes a splash pad, water creek, wading/splash pool, play areas, accessible toilets and changing rooms, shade sails and structures, grassed areas, and community picnic areas complete with barbecues. We have also made provisions for mobile catering, ensuring you have access to delicious food options during your visit. To ensure the safety of our visitors, we have implemented fencing and self-closing gates throughout the park.
While our current offerings are already impressive, we have exciting plans for the future. A second stage of development is in the works, which will include the construction of a deeper water pool, subject to funding becoming available. This expansion will also feature a leisure pool, additional changing rooms, family play spaces, and connecting pathways throughout the foreshore reserve. Additionally, we aim to improve the localised living stream outflows to the Swan River, further enhancing the natural beauty of our surroundings.
We encourage you to stay connected with us and keep up-to-date with all the latest happenings in Bayswater. Visit the Civic Centre and Council Chambers at 61 Broun Avenue in Morley or reach out to us at PO Box 467 Morley 6943. The City of Bayswater acknowledges and respects the Traditional Custodians of the land, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation, and pays tribute to elders past, present, and emerging.
Join us at Maylands Waterland for an unforgettable day of water-based fun and relaxation. Whether you're seeking thrilling water features or a tranquil picnic area, our institution has something for everyone. Come and experience the joy and excitement that Maylands Waterland has to offer.
Reviews
"Interesting place for toddlers in summer. Two main water areas allowing for lots of different ways to play. Love the dedicated areas for events and free space to set up gatherings as well!"
"We went last Saturday and got there an hour after opening. Every car park including the overflow were full, took a chance at the boat ramp and were lucky. Not enough car parking. Park is lovely and the kids enjoyed it. We've brought generations of the kids here, so we remember what it was like before and must say we missed the pools. Still a good park and great its free. Plenty of facilities and nicely decorated and layed out. Families hired the party area, while other families just setup with marquees around the park for birthdays etc.. nice atmosphere."
"Such a great family day out. Plenty of things for kids to play, climb and swing on. The water areas are fantastic with frogs and other things straying water and even a water fall. There are a few tables and bbqs so if you want one get in early otherwise plenty of grass to sit on. Parking is a bit of a pain and saw the ranger out and about even on a Sunday."
"Maylands Waterland has recently reopened with a huge update. Most of it now is zero depth with one section near the water bucket filling up at times to just over ankle depth. I took my 8 and 5 year old here a couple of days ago at about 3:00pm. They were happily occupied for 1.5 hours before it got too cold due to the wind. Great free fun!"
