Our premises are meticulously clean and comfortable, creating a welcoming environment for both our feline guests and their owners. We understand that some cat owners may have large families of cats, and we have designed and built Large Family Units that offer plenty of space and comfort for your cats' vacation. For those cats who expect nothing but the very best, our Luxton Suites are the perfect choice. These suites feature Cat TV playing throughout the night, a drinking fountain, and a hooded litter tray.
If your cat loves the outdoors, they will find the Tropical Garden Suites to be a true luxury. These suites offer the largest individual outside enclosure available, allowing your cat to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. The Penthouse Suite is where all the action happens, providing extra attention fit for a king or queen. This suite backs onto a garden area, giving your cats a beautiful view.
Our Standard Suites are just as comfortable and practically the same size as the Penthouse and Tropical Garden Suites. In most cases, these suites have a large inside area with a window for your cat to enjoy the view. The newly renovated Garden View Suites offer a more tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, located at the front of the cattery near the front office.
At Northern Districts Cattery, we are truly passionate about our work and aim to provide a peaceful and happy environment for our guests. We love our feline guests and want them to have a great holiday while you enjoy your break. We offer a wide selection of premium cat accommodation, suiting all budget types, including discounted long-term rates. We are constantly finding new ways to improve our cattery and love showing customers the improvements.
Please note that Northern Districts Cattery is experiencing high demand for future reservations, especially during the peak holiday season from June 14th to July 20th. We kindly advise you to plan and book well in advance to secure your cat's spot.

"Our cat had been staying at another cattery for 13 years and unfortunately they recently shut down. We had the difficult task of trying to find a new cattery that met the same high standards as the old cattery and thankfully we were recommend to Northern Districts Cattery by a friend. The owners (Mary and Matt) are very friendly and welcoming - they managed to book in our cat at short notice and welcomed us to visit the cattery for a tour, to ensure that it met our standards. The cattery is very clean, well presented, has a homely feel and there are many different suite types to choose from. Drop off of our cat was stress free and not rushed (despite it being a busy drop off day) and our cat settled in quickly. During our cat's stay, Matt sent us some photos of our cat enjoying the sun in the outdoor area. Upon pick up, our cat was relaxed and it was evident that our cat enjoyed the stay.
