"Unhappy with their service for a case involving my father, the Department of Transport and Black & White Cabs for unpaid lifting fees. Despite ample evidence, for a little over two years, they made no progress. Communication was poorly handled. We were allocated an under-graduate to handle our matter. At the end, they asked for more money beyond the original agreed amount for a preliminary analysis, even though we were told that my father had a case and had been wronged. Electronic records, SMS’s and emails were presented, but Apius pressed a matter which required original TUSS dockets to be provided which the Department of Transport refused to give. So, the preliminary analysis changed course from a ‘preliminary analysis’ to an expensive case of trying to get original TUSS dockets from the department of transport (even though electronic evidence existed, and was presented). From a $2,500 commitment to get some direction, to an extra $8,000 to get original dockets from a government department ... The poor communication, multiple meetings to get clarification on the same matters discussed the previous week, and lack of clarity - was tiresome to say the least. Thanks to an undergraduate which didn’t seem to know what she was doing, and the lead lawyer who did not seem (truly) vested in the case."
