Welcome to Atlantis Early Learning, located at 60 Saint Ives Drive, Yanchep, Australia. As a dedicated establishment focused on School Readiness and School Reflection, our Yanchep Preschool Centre is the ideal choice for families seeking a smooth transition into formal schooling.

At our Preschool, we have an exceptional team of passionate Educators, led by our Early Childhood Teacher (ECT), who work closely together to inspire curiosity, catalyze self-learning, and provide support in developing the necessary skills for Kindy and beyond. We offer two programs at our Preschool, one for children who are not yet in formal schooling and another for those already attending school. Depending on the activities, we sometimes divide into smaller groups and other times come together as a classroom-sized group.

Our Learning Environment accommodates different age groups, with qualified and professional Educators specializing in the developmental and emotional needs of each specific group. We provide a boutique experience with modern facilities and engaging play spaces that connect children with nature. Our team of friendly and caring Educators ensures a personalized approach to your child's education. It is with great pride that we share our Exceeding rating, which is the highest rating a school can achieve.

Our learning program takes inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). We believe in a play-based, nature-based curriculum that builds upon your child's natural curiosity and interests. By utilizing their strengths, skills, and knowledge, we keep them fully engaged and motivated to learn, reaching their full potential and gaining important life skills that will stay with them throughout their schooling life.

These early years are some of the most exciting in a child's life. It is a time when their curiosity peaks, and they rapidly absorb information while applying their new knowledge. They begin to interact more with others, forming social groups and sharing knowledge and understanding to tackle complex challenges.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Kathryn, the Atlantis Preschool Centre Manager. With over 8 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and a qualification as an Early Childhood Teacher, I have worked in various roles across metropolitan Perth and regional WA, including as a Room Leader, ECT, Curriculum Leader, and Director. My background also includes experience as a Teacher's Assistant and Teacher in WA, Tasmania, and internationally. I am also a qualified Swimming Teacher and am excited to apply my skills and knowledge here at Atlantis Preschool. I am passionate about supporting a child's learning journey and cherishing those magical moments. I take great joy in watching children grow, thrive, achieve new skills, and reach milestones. I believe in encouraging independent learning, increasing self-help skills, and promoting child-led play. My goal is to create an exceptional service that provides high-quality care and education to children and families, while also fostering a supportive team environment for Educators to reach their goals and advance in their careers. I am thrilled to get to know all the children and families at Atlantis Preschool.

We highly value each child's voice and structure our learning around their individual interests, allowing them to use their unique learning style to explore and discover the world around them. We provide meaningful experiences and deliver a unique curriculum designed to take children out of the classroom and into the wider world. Our daily diverse activities and excursions keep children actively learning and engaged. From numeracy and literacy to creativity and fine and gross motor skill development, we believe that valuable learning can take place while participating in engaging activities. We visit the Yanchep National Park twice a week to encourage a vital connection to the outdoor world, and we also make regular visits to the Two Rocks Library to foster a love of reading and learning from an early age.
