Reviews
"A wonderful, inclusive school with great facilities such as The Hub, which is the learning and therapy area for any students with special needs. This area has a heated indoor therapy pool and well equiped rooms. The staff are a dedicated and highly professional team and I've found an active school community working together for the children's benefit."
"I had to change the wording of this review, a number of times to keep my true sentiment un-emotional. As a concerned parent that had 2 kids in John Butler Primary College (JBPC) for a number of years - I can only state the following: Even though the previous head master was asked to leave, he was still a far better leader and principal than currently at JBPC. Personable communication are almost non existent now. Education is on a downward spiral. There are no 'open correspondence' between parents, teachers, students and the seniour leadership. AND All of the above, flows down from a principal that puts the well-being & education of students - above all else -including her own personal agendas. This is not a personal attack on the principal - just a reflection on her leadership skills since becoming head master. We have removed both our kids from JBPC after experiencing an extremely stressful situation that vice principal Fiona put our family through. Again, if the principal was slightly more concerned, involved and approachable about the student's well-being, I would not leave this review. Unfortunately I can only give a warning to Parents - your kids will not have the best education, opportunities, discipline or exposure at JBPC. Our kids are now barely 2 months at a different school and we, as their parents that know them best, can already see a vast improvement in their schoolwork, behavior and discipline. I'm really saddened to say this - but any caring parent should think hard before picking JBPC. Do your research, talk to other parents at this school before you make the most important decision for your child. Lastly: mrs Fiona, your "personal life" should stay at home and not 'cloud' your judgment and decisions. Men are not all evil. You have the ability to ruin lives and families."
"Good school. My daughter has been studying this school from kindly and now she's year 2 and even though we've moved the house 10 kg far from school area."
"Good teachers there. My daughter loves going to school everyday"
"Very supportive school although they do things backwards for example lunch is at 10:30 u play first then eat inside then recess is at 12:50 u play then your not aloud to eat at all. Little bit of bullying but not to bad I would recommend going here if u don't mind the whole backwards bit."
