"Dirty, cramped and chaotic store. Only one scanner for escripts that barely works - staff member had to take my mobile phone to the back of the pharmacy section to scan my scripts (not cool). Long line of people with E scripts waiting as a result of a pathetic lack of useful equiptment. Extremely rude and lazy staff at the checkout who are more concerned with chatting to each other than serving customers. This store has always been bad but has now hit the ultimate low! The first thing to effect a remedy would be to immediately replace your new cohort of shelf stacking and checkout staff who are extremely rude and dismissive, are totally disinterested in customer service and definitely need to work in an environment elsewhere that requires zero face to face contact with the public. My family will most certainly not be returning to this store and will be reconsidering attending any other Chemist Warehouse stores in the future. I will also be advising friends and colleagues to shop elsewhere!"
"My wife picked up some products today, and tried to pay with a gift card valued at $100 our daughter had given her as a birthday present. Total came to $105 odd cents, but cashier insisted my wife could not pay cash for the balance, had to be on card. When my wife insisted on knowing why, the exchange got heated, with my wife asking for the card back along with a receipt to make sure the transaction had not been processed. The young man attending shouted at her "You havent paid for nufink, take your card and move to the exit, the exit is that way!" pointing towards the store entrance, at one point calling for security. She walked back and told him not to speak to her in that manner, he replied "I just DID!" to which she replied "You should get a job you like working at, instead of insulting paying customers!" Gets better! He shouted her down, with a queue of customers behind her "At least if I buy gifts for my Momma I can afford to pay for the whole lot! Get your kids to pay for your gifts in future!" My wife was really upset, went to speak to a manager, no manager on site (she was told), but a nice lady from the pharmacy section apologized for the incident, and took my wife's contact details......time will tell if it gets followed up, but, judging from the online ratings, and other experiences we have had on separate occasions in this particular store, the culture of berating and verbally abusing the people that make this outlet the busiest in WA will continue to help this fish rot from the head down. GO ELSEWHERE, not worth the "savings" in lieu of customer "service". I realise basic good manners begins at home, but shame on the management for lack of training on these people that are ultimately representing their brand."
"I’m checking prices at the check out, this lady tell me “ she only just a till, how can I expect her to check the price for me”…. This is not cool."
"Can get busy at times. Spaces between the product aisles could be better."
"Hate to leave negative reviews but my goodness - lack of customer service is a shocker here. I’ve worked in retail and no matter how busy or bad your day is, you try your best to keep a smile and be professional. Young staff packing shelves while it’s super busy and chit chatting - 100% no problem but when you’re dropping f-bombs, swearing and talking about what you’re planning to do on the weekend (parting/ clubbing), when customer are trying to squeeze through and around to fit into the aisles, it’s an uncomfortable area to be in. Unlike coles where when you ask where an item is and they TAKE you there or try to give you a good idea where it is, I asked where an item is and it’s just “up ahead”.. so I went to the aisle ahead and spent a good few minutes going through looking where it might be. I feel like there is not enough customer service training if almost all staff has the attitude - where’s the customer service?"
