At Earbox, we hold regular clinics at Butler Family Practice, conveniently located next to Butler Central Shopping Centre. Our team of qualified and accredited audiologists, with over 10 years of experience, utilize the latest audiologic technology to conduct comprehensive hearing assessments.

During your appointment, our audiologists will take the time to understand your child's developmental history before performing a series of tests and games. These assessments provide valuable information about the middle and inner ears, as well as the hearing levels at different pitches. Rest assured, we prioritize creating a child-friendly environment while maintaining the utmost professionalism.

Following the appointment, a detailed report will be provided, outlining the results and any necessary recommendations. In some cases, we may recommend annual monitoring if certain risk factors for hearing loss are identified. If immediate medical advice is required, our audiologists will refer you to the appropriate specialist.

Appointments generally last around 30 minutes, and we strive to offer flexible scheduling between 8am and 4pm. However, please note that appointments before and after school tend to be in high demand and fill up quickly. Ample free parking is available outside Butler Family Practice for your convenience.

In addition to our pediatric services, we also offer independent audiology testing for adults. While we do not provide hearing aids directly, we can offer appropriate referrals if necessary. Our institution also provides locum audiological services for ENT specialists.

At Earbox, we prioritize accessibility and convenience. Our mobile audiology equipment allows us to offer hearing screenings for both children and adults in various settings, such as quiet rooms in classrooms or daycare centers, as long as background noise levels are manageable.

For those eligible, a Medicare rebate is available with a written request from your GP or ENT for an audiology assessment. The amount rebated by Medicare will depend on the specific tests conducted during the appointment. Please note that the full appointment fee is payable on the day, and a Medicare receipt will be provided for online claims.
